The shop forms the retail, community and pilot-event base for the wider Orc’s Head project.

Events and Organised Play

The Orc’s Head will host casual play, introductory sessions, leagues, tournaments, hobby gatherings and themed community events. Because the Potters Bar shop is compact, selected larger events may be held at nearby community venues, allowing more players to take part without losing the friendly Orc’s Head atmosphere.

Pre-orders, Online Shopping and Click & Collect

Reserve new releases, place orders through our website and collect them from our Potters Bar shop. Our location near the station is ideal for convenient collections on the way to or from work, school or an evening event.

Friendly Advice and Beginner Support

Creative hobbies can sometimes feel overwhelming when you are starting out. We want The Orc’s Head to be approachable, helpful and free from unnecessary intimidation.

Our team will help customers compare products, choose suitable starter materials, understand the basics and find the part of the hobby that is right for them.

Clubs, Schools and Community Groups

We welcome enquiries from gaming clubs, art groups, schools, community organisations and private groups. Activities may include introductory gaming sessions, creative workshops, painting demonstrations and larger off-site events tailored to the needs of the group.

Accessibility and Inclusion

The Orc’s Head is being developed as a welcoming space for artists, gamers, collectors and creators from different backgrounds and levels of experience. We will discuss access requirements in advance and make reasonable adjustments wherever practicable.

Accessibility is being treated as part of the core project rather than an optional extra.
